Bértold Salas Murillo est professeur de Cinéma à l’Université du Costa Rica. Il a réalisé des études de premier et troisième cycle en journalisme et en philosophie, et possède une maîtrise en Études Cinématographiques (Université du Costa Rica, 2011) et un doctorat en Littérature et arts de la scène et de l’écran (Université Laval). Il est actuellement sous-directeur de l’Institut de Recherche en Arts (IIARTE), de l’Université du Costa Rica. Parmi ses publications récentes, on retrouve : « Entre la escena y la pantalla.
